Dallas Store Director Caroline’s Favorite Local Spots
ICYMI: We recently opened Follain Dallas, our very first location in Texas! In honor of the opening, we spoke with store director Caroline about her favorite spots in Dallas.
Caroline’s happy place is among the mountains and forests when she’s hiking with friends. She’s also an avid reader and is often juggling five or six books at a time, ranging from informative guides on health and wellness to laugh-out-loud stories written by comedians. Her community is important to her and she devotes a lot of time to cultivating relationships and spending quality time with friends and family.
Favorite Places in Dallas
“From outdoor concerts overlooking White Rock Lake to pumpkin villages, the Arboretum is a beautifully designed space. Every season, they have a different set-up and a wide arrange of colors of flowers and serene water elements. They also have a wonderful children’s area which is a safe, fun and interactive spot to take my young nieces and nephews.”

“Instead of going to dinner to catch up with friends, I like to do what I call “Walk and Talks” on the Katy Trail to spend quality time with friends. We view the Dallas iconic skyline as we catch up on our lives.”

“This preserve is the closest thing you can find to a proper hike in the flat city of Dallas. It is beautiful in the fall with great overlooks of the foliage. I especially enjoy the butterfly garden.”
“The atmosphere of the space reminds me of Follain: chic and modern. I enjoy visiting this store for a cold-pressed juice shot for when I need an extra healthy boost.”
“Michelle Bardwell does aromatherapy lymphatic Swedish massages formulated for your body composition at the Dallas Yoga Center. It is a self-care luxury good for my body, mind and soul.”
