Hi, and happy April! It’s a particularly exciting one for us this year—not only because we love celebrating Earth Day—but also because we’re launching several Follain-label products this month.

Before starting Follain, I wasn’t 100% certain that I would create a retail business. When I initially realized how dirty my beloved beauty products were, I first considered launching a brand of products. But in the end, I kept coming back to the fact that there were already so many powerful brands out there that needed a home.

So, as you know, I began the business by building that home for clean beauty brands to grow and flourish. I’m so glad I did this, as connecting clients to the best brands and products for their skin needs has been incredibly rewarding and educational.

That said, since I’ve been testing clean products for the past 10 years (thousands of products, including the 500+ we sell), I’ve also seen what’s missing in the clean beauty space. In some cases, there’s room for innovation in ingredients and formulas, and other times it’s packaging or price—or a combination of all of these. The Follain refillable soap has been one of our top-selling products since the day we opened in July 2013. We definitely filled a void by offering the cleanest gel soap formula possible, in refillable packaging!

This month, I’m very proud to share a new suite of products that I think are just as necessary in clean beauty. Some of them have unique packaging, and all of the formulas inside are just as interesting and exciting as they are safe. For years, you’ve been requesting non-toxic and nourishing options for a light spray body oil, a rich lathering bar soap, and a couple other products that are coming soon!

We’re not traditional product formulators, and developing these products was a huge learning process for us. They’re the result of years of inspiration and months of hard work. We wanted to make sure the products reflected all of our core values and delivered beautiful experiences, and I’m happy to say that they do!
